For sign trade professionals

Wholesale sign fabrication

You sell the sign, we build it. Channel letters, illuminated cabinets, large-format printing and interior signage produced white-label in our Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville shop and delivered install-ready, without a word to your client.

Wholesale sign fabrication, in plain terms

Wholesale sign fabrication means handing the production of a sign you've sold to a specialist shop that builds it white-label and delivers it ready to install. Enseignes MS is a wholesale sign fabricator based in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, on Montreal's South Shore. We build channel letters, illuminated cabinets, dimensional letters, large-format print and interior signage for sign companies, printers, agencies and contractors across Quebec, unbranded, with no contact with the end client and no installation: your crew installs.

Your client stays your client

This gets settled first, because it's the one thing that actually matters when you hand production to another shop: we do not solicit our clients' clients. Not during the job, not after delivery, not two years later when the sign needs servicing. If the end client calls us directly, we send the call back to you.

Our name appears nowhere. Not on the sign, not on the raceway, not on the crate, not on the packing slip. Ship to your shop, to your client, or straight to the site: the packaging is unbranded in all three cases.

Proofs and shop drawings can come out unheaded, so you hand them over under your own logo. Ask at quote time: it's the same work, it doesn't change the price.

What we build for you

Channel letters. Face-lit, halo-backlit or side-lit. Cold-formed aluminum returns, corners notched then clinched, riveted or welded, cast acrylic faces trim-capped or flush-bonded. Mounted direct, on a raceway, on a wireway or on a backer, depending on what the facade allows.

Illuminated cabinets. Single or double face, polycarbonate or acrylic faces, printed or applied vinyl graphics. Refacing an existing cabinet works from your site measurements, with the structure left in place.

Non-illuminated dimensional lettering. Aluminum, PVC, acrylic and Maxmetal CNC-routed, edges finished, full-scale drill pattern in the box.

Large-format printing. Print and laminate, contour cutting, wall murals, frosted vinyl, rigid panels. Useful when a contract mixes signage with interior graphics and you'd rather not run two suppliers.

Interior signage and evacuation plans. Plates, directionals and wayfinding, out of the same shop as the rest of the job.

Paint comes out of our own booth on the AkzoNobel Grip-Gard system. That's the same colour from the first batch to the third, which starts to matter the day your client rolls out over three years and stands two locations side by side.

UL certification, and what it saves you

Our shop holds its own UL file (E511960), and our illuminated signs are built with c UL us Listed components: power supplies, LED modules, wiring and grounding. This is the single most common reason a sign company sends us a production: building a compliant electrical assembly in-house takes a certification you can't improvise, and most Greater Montreal municipalities require it at permit stage.

We also hold R.B.Q. licence 5778-2740-01. Some buyers, particularly on institutional sites and general-contractor projects, want the fabricator licensed and not just the installer. You can hand over the number without having to explain where the sign came from.

Your files, our shop drawings

We work from what you have: AI, EPS, vector PDF, SVG. A vector with fonts outlined and colours called out (Pantone, RAL or vinyl code) goes to production with no back-and-forth.

A JPG or PNG gets redrawn. We'll do it, it's billed hourly, and it usually adds a day or two. Just tell us if there's an existing brand standard to respect: knowing beforehand is faster than correcting afterwards.

For anything illuminated and anything going to permit, we produce dimensioned shop drawings: elevations, sections, anchoring, weights and electrical load. You file them with the city under your name.

Packing and delivery: you install

Every illuminated sign is wired, lit and left running on the bench before it gets packed. That's the step an inspection finds out about when it's been skipped, and you're the one who'd be standing there that day.

Orders ship ready to mount: numbered letters, full-scale drill pattern, hardware, power supplies and wiring diagram in the same crate. Your crew opens it and installs.

We deliver across Greater Montreal and the South Shore, and ship elsewhere in Quebec. We don't install, and that's deliberate: we build, your crew installs. We never set foot at your client's, which is also the best guarantee we'll never talk to them.

Lead times, capacity and trade pricing

Sign trade professionals get trade pricing, separate from retail. Volume and repeat work show up in it. If you're placing regular orders, ask for a schedule instead of quoting every project one at a time.

Quotes go out within 24 to 48 business hours on a complete file. In production, expect two to four weeks between proof approval and delivery, depending on size, finish and acrylic and aluminum supply.

Rush jobs exist and we take them. The difference is that you get an answer the same day: yes with a date, or no. A supplier who says yes to everything is a supplier who makes you late at your client's.

Questions

Do you solicit our clients?

No. A client who comes through you stays yours, during the job and after it. We don't contact them, we don't follow up, and if they call us directly about servicing or an addition, we send the call back to you. That's the basis of white-label work, and it's why sign companies have been sending us production for years.

Does your name appear on the sign or the packaging?

Nowhere. No plate, no label, no sticker on the raceway, no logo on the crate or the packing slip. On request, proofs and shop drawings also come out unheaded so you can present them under your own brand.

What files should we send?

Vector: AI, EPS, vector PDF or SVG, fonts outlined, colours called out in Pantone, RAL or vinyl code. With that, production starts with no back-and-forth. A raster file gets redrawn hourly, which adds a day or two to the lead time. You can attach your files right in the quote form.

Do you build from our drawings, or does it all get redone?

From yours. If you already have elevations and mounting details, we follow them. If all you have is a visual, we produce the dimensioned shop drawings the city needs (elevations, sections, anchoring, weights, electrical load) and you file them under your name.

Do you install?

No. Enseignes MS fabricates only: the sign ships packed and install-ready, with numbered letters, a full-scale drill pattern, hardware and wiring diagram. Installation stays with you: your client, your site, your relationship.

Can you deliver straight to our client or to the site?

Yes, across Greater Montreal and the South Shore, and by carrier elsewhere in Quebec. The packaging is unbranded, so an on-site delivery gives nothing away. Tell us the target date at quote time: that's what sets the project's place in the schedule, not the other way around.
